A classic U.S. Navy ship's Wardroom clock which keeps excellent time, and is in outstanding original condition all around!

Presented is a Seth Thomas U.S. Navy clock that was typically mounted on a bulkhead, on a ship's bridge, quarter deck, or in a wardroom. It has a 6" silvered brass dial, a 5 1/2” viewing area with Arabic numerals, and is housed in a heavy, forged, nickel plated bronze case. The case is fitted with a hinged right opening bezel. It is of pre World War Two vintage. The black spade hands are over a very large second's dial which is in place of the numeral six. "Made by Seth Thomas in U.S.A.", is below the large seconds dial. A lever type fast/slow regulator is near the 9 position.

The movement is a Lever No. 6, 11-jeweled, 8 day time-only movement, that was especially made to compete with Chelsea. It is running well. The stand shown is included.

CONDITION: This example is in like new original condition. The face is in excellent condition as is the nickel plating. The clock was recently serviced and it keeps excellent time. A key is included.
